The Evonik Center for Technology and Knowledge Transfer (CTKT) acts as an intermediary and competent contact between Evonik Industries AG and professors, scientists, high potentials and promising start-ups at the Technical University of Munich in all project phases.

It continuously evaluates the specific needs of Evonik Industries AG and, on this basis, promotes the exchange of technologies and ideas, arranges joint national and international (research) projects, reduces the administrative effort for the project partners and enables access to talented people and relevant start-up oops

In this way, it promotes and intensifies the strategic cooperation between the two partners and enables the faster creation of innovations.

Joint events and workshops​

Joint events and workshops The CTKT organizes discussions and innovation workshops with researchers from Evonik and professors from the Technical University of Munich, organizes joint colloquia, forums and visits with international participants.​

Research and innovation management

In the CTKT, joint research projects with high application potential and particular social relevance are initiated. The main topics are new materials and processes for applications in the energy sector, in medical technology or in plastics processing.

Start-up scouting

The CTKT arranges cooperations with innovative start-ups worldwide, also outside of the Technical University of Munich, and coordinates joint projects with technology founders.

Continuous project and topic scouting

As a joint think tank, the CTKT evaluates innovation topics from a scientific and economic perspective, identifies future opportunities in specialty chemicals and develops new system solutions.
